Unfortunately there is a huge lack of skilled breastfeeding support in the UK, and breastfeeding rates are poor, with many women struggling to feed and stopping before they want to. 

I have the time to sit with you and really listen and observe how things are going. I always offer evidence based information and support, relevant to YOU and YOUR baby. I can visit you in the comfort of your own home, which is invaluable in the early days when leaving the house can be tricky, especially if you are finding it hard to feed.

I am accredited by Birth Baby & You as an Infant Feeding Coach & Tongue Tie Assessor and registered as a Breastfeeding Counsellor with FEDANT.

HOW CAN I SUPPORT YOU?

Postnatal Consultation at Home

£85 initial appt (1.5 hour) home visit (plus milage fee)

£60 for follow up (1hr) home visit (plus milage fee)

I will visit you at home, take a history of your birth and breastfeeding experiences so far, as well as any other information about you and your baby relevant to feeding.

I will observe a full feed where possible, and listen to you to understand what areas you need help with.

As a qualified Tongue Tie Assesor, I can also carry out an oral assessment on your baby, and signpost to relevant services if required.

We will then come up with a plan together to move forwards and aim to meet your feeding goals. I will follow up our appt with a summary of what we have discussed (via email) and will share any relevant resources with you.

I will then check in to see how you are getting on in the following days, and can offer ongoing virtual support or follow up visits at home, if and when you feel necessary.

Virtual Support Package

£60 for 2 weeks 

I will be on the end of the phone via WhatsApp (voice note, video message and text), and will always reply within 12 hours, usually a lot less. I will be able to offer support, advice and reassurance as you’re beginning your feeding journey or moving through any transitions. 

Nb. This can only be booked as an add on to any face to face services (antenatal OR postnatal).

Troubleshooting Phone/Video Call

£25 (30 mins)

This is for when feeding is generally going well, but you have a specific concern or question you would like to discuss.

We can have a 30 minute phone call where you can pick my brains about a specific concern and I will follow up with any relevant information or resources that might be helpful for your situation.

I will advise whether this service is appropriate when you get in touch, as in many situations a full feeding assessment is required for me to best support you.
